If you’ve ever been to a photo shoot you know how much fun it can be and our June 19th event was no exception! We gathered at The Opera Gallery on Spring Street in Manhattan and kicked off the day by laying out the Dana Michele jewelry we’d be featuring on our beautiful, versatile model, Katy Beal from Q Models with clothes from Gilt Groupe.

Every piece of jewelry was sparkling and luscious, from the gorgeous white and yellow gold Love Me Knot and Infinity Heart necklaces to the whimsical Penny Pendant keychains and loveable animal necklaces. The room filled with ‘oohing’ and ‘aahing’ as everyone fantasized about how they’d wear this piece or that, and we knew we’d better get going or we’d spend all day trying on jewelry and gabbing about how we loved it!

We had a super professional crew, made up of New York’s top fashion experts: photographer Helena Palazzi, Stylist Allison Berlin, designer Dana Goldstein, Hair Stylist Hikari Tezuka, makeup stylist Kim Webber. The synergy was magical among the group. The energy was flowing like crazy and we were flowing with it!

As the designer, I came to the shoot with list of theme ideas. Here’s a sneak peak at some of the other sizzling shots we took, showcasing love and romance, hot and hip new moms, tantalizing office chic, glittering arm wear, wish-ready good luck charms, and much, much more.

After all was said and done, we were thrilled at how the pictures showed off Dana Michele jewelry, and suggested some of the fun and fanciful ways you can wear it. Helena promised to put finishing touches on the final photos, so they’d be picture-perfect for each theme.
